[Software description] This software is TeraStation V Series Firmware Update Utility to update unit firmware to Ver.1.10. If your unit firmware is Ver.1.10 or later version, you do not have to use this utility. [How to confirm firmware version] Select TeraStation from NAS Navigator2 utility search screen. The firmware version is displayed right and bottom corner in the status screen. [Caution] - Please consult you local representative if you experience malfunction problem cause by firmware update. - Do not turn the unit off until complete messages appear. It might takes several minutes in the case. - The USB hard disk is not mounted automatically after firmware update. In this case, please perform unplug operation then plug it again for detection. [How to use updater] 1. Connect the TeraStation properly and configure a computer which runs the updater and TeraStation so that both of them have the same network address. * For example, IP address / subnet mask of the computer is " 192.168.0.10 / 255.255.255.0 " and IP address / subnet mask of the TeraStation is " 192.168.1.150 / 255.255.255.0 " then they do not work properly. In such a case, reconfigure these values for the TeraStation to " 192.168.0.150 / 255.255.255.0 " 2. Exit all applications which are currently running. Also, stop or exit firewall Since update cannot be performed while firewall software and such is running. 3. Extract the downloaded file and run "TSUpdater.exe" which is included in the extracted file. After the TeraStation is found, a screen is displayed. 4. Select the TeraStation to update if multiple TeraStation are connected. 5. Press the "Update" button to display the screen to enter the password. 6. Enter the password and press "OK". 7. Transferring and updating the firmware will start. Wait until it completes.  * The info LED flashes while updating. 8. Update is completed when the completed message is displayed.
